Our Accreditations

NAPBS Accreditation

Verified Credentials, Inc. has successfully demonstrated compliance with the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS) Background Screening Agency Accreditation Program (BSAAP) and is formally recognized as Background Screening Credentialing Council (BSCC) Accredited.

NAPBS requires consumer reporting agencies pass a rigorous, independently-conducted onsite audit of its policies and procedures as they relate to six critical areas:

  • Consumer protection
  • Legal compliance
  • Client education
  • Product standards
  • Service standards
  • General business practices 

Verified Credentials meets or exceeds 56 strict professional standards of requirements and measurements enforced by the BSCC. We are proud to have earned NAPBS accreditation, which is the nationally recognized seal of achievement for background screening organizations.

Our Certifications

 

NAPBS | Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) – Basic Certification

NAPBS developed the FCRA Basic Certification Program to provide a basic knowledge of FCRA regulations. The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) requires businesses to obtain an applicant’s written consent before seeking a consumer report, among other consumer protection requirements.

SAPAA | Certified Third Party Administrator

Verified Credentials, Inc. is a Substance Abuse Program Administrators Association (SAPAA) Certified Third Party Administrator (TPA) and has met all qualifications, required training and certifications to achieve recognition. SAPAA’s national standards are recognized as the credential for the substance abuse testing and program management industry.

What is this?

There are several types of codes:

Requirements Code:
This code is given to a user by an organization or person who has asked the user to complete a series of requirements for a given qualification process. Each qualification process is assigned a unique code. Users enter the code and are guided through an easy, step-by-step process to help them complete the mandatory requirements established by the requestor.

Sharing Code:
This code is typically given to a user by another person in effort to share information contained in their personal QualifiedFirst portfolio, such as their background report, professional qualifications, and more. The users enter the code and can view the shared information securely within their QualifiedFirst account. If the user does not have a QualifiedFirst account, they can open a FREE account in a matter of minutes.

Promotional Code:
This code is sent out to QualifiedFirst® users and can be used for discounts on personal background check orders. Note – these codes cannot be used when responding to a requirement set code.
